The Africa Commerce & Industry Summit & Awards 2026 nomination, voting and ticketing platform ("the Platform") is operated on behalf of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry ("KNCCI", "we", "us") as part of the Africa Commerce & Industry Summit. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the Platform, why, and how it's protected, in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
We share data with KNCCI's awards secretariat and judging panel for verification and judging purposes, with our payment processor to complete transactions, and with regulators or law enforcement where legally required. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Nomination and voting data is retained for the duration of the Africa Commerce & Industry Summit & Awards 2026 cycle and a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping and dispute resolution, then deleted or anonymised, consistent with the Data Protection Act's retention-limit principle.
